Hjalmar Schacht and some prominent American citizens sure helped the economic miracle complete with brand new autobahns, ready for the troop movements. Some British ones too probably when the accountants finally come clean in the history books.

The race, religion, and nationality isn't important, the actions count far more.

Some wealthy individuals liked the idea of Hitler and the Nazi's, it's a good thing Google and silicon chips weren't around at the time. Some British Royalty members were noted supporters of the Nazis.

Unfortunately some of the guys and their ideas managed to escape from WW2. Operation Paperclip. Rather that just paste the words "Conspiracy Theory", some of these likely leads should be followed up. Doing something that used to be called "investigative journalism" before it was banned by the ministry of truth. Google maps and the origin of the name "Lyme's disease" make this an obvious candidate.

Erich Traub went from Riems Island to Plumb Island. Just a co incidence? There are a number of co incidents.

He worked with ticks as a vehicle to transmit disease for example.
