<<Power all they care about. The morality of or means of obtaining it irrelevant.>>

I think this explains some of the opposition to Netanyahu.

Escalation with Iran ‘Cynically Exploited by Netanyahu,’ Critics Warn - The Media Line

Back to an earlier point on genocides. There has not been just one Genocide. We know about the WW2 Holocaust against the Jews and other minorities, and that is given a fair airing in the media. What is also reprehensible is the belief propagated that their has been just one case of genocide.

There have been many, many genocides and the world is probably a sadder place because of it. The North American Indians are an example. Some of the depopulation was very deliberate, some of it accidental or by force of circumstances.

On my own turf, the UK military committed a genocidal action against the civilian population during the Boer War. We invented and developed the concentration camp and killed many civilians in the camps.

Lots of other examples could be cited.

When you are taking away the land and the rights of an indigenous peoples to live freely, yes your actions are genocidal... Netanyahu's actions fit the ticket. Without a doubt in my mind.

Now the media or the government creating laws and rules about what people can and cant say about the word "genocide" is also fascist and without a doubt. Especially when the real facts are being distorted.

Now would the Iranians fire a Nuke at Israel?

Well both the Iraqis and the Iranians are non war like as peoples. I base that on experience from meeting people from those countries, there are plenty of them here now in the UK. They are attracted to live in areas without ongoing wars. The trouble is, just like everywhere else, they have extremists. During times of strife, and they have had plenty of strife brought in from the Western world, the Extremists view becomes stronger and more powerful politically. I think you must know this as well as I do.

Yes, if those nut cases are in power, they will be rushing to fire a Nuke at Israel asap. The situation is defused by not giving reason for the general population to become incensed.

That has not been the play ever since the UK and the USA put a Nazi war criminal in Power (The Shah) and really f**ked up Iran. Iraq and 911 is another plain case. The problems go back before then too.

Just one of those things that must be approached intelligently and logically imho.
