I am sure it's going to be a big shock, and its going to cause some panic before any confidence returns as we have generations that have not felt the chill from a real bear market. I think Elon is just trying to get the crypto troops trained a bit for adverse conditions. Lots of cryptos in local wallets will prompt transactions. Especially if you have no fiat, or the taxman has called. Cigarettes were used after WW2 as a currency. Now recognised as possibly bad for your health, especially the lungs. What happens if fiat self annihilates? So I think the good news / bad news rapid cycle on the crypto markets is generally a good thing.
