My only caveat vs yours is in... I'm not waiting until passing to ensure the kids are provisioned...

Actually sense.. we agree on that also :) plus you get to enjoy the giving :) and get to direct the outcome a bit better.. not talking about strings.. but rather guidance :) There IS A DIFFERENCE...

I realise better than both daughter and son themselves that then both have as strong entrepreneurial bent.. Son will be happy to find a place to settle... while daughter is a globe trotter and does work that can be done trotting :)

While I fully expect to remain sentient until I die... I'm too well aware that wills, and trusts, and lawyers... are not the value advertised by the professions...

Sadly money makes folks .. even family funny ... Think you are pretty well bang on ...
