I am interested in silver, and it's verification for the home collector, stacker.

I have measured my coins and bars dimensions, weighed them to check I actually had silver. All looked good apart from some one ounce Eagles purchased from my most trusted UK source. I I buy from a lot of sources, including foreigners and even some Americans and Ebay!

A later carefully measured density check described here alleviated my concerns. I bought some scales from China too. Very good quality and value. I now have three of them and I am going through calibration checks. Statistical analysis... the whole show. I will be good from weights from 1gram up to two kilograms. The 0 to 50 gram range to three decimal places. I cannot measure 1 milligram but larger weights do seem to be sensitive to 1mg. Good enough for me. Here is the video I used, but there are thousands of them out there and I am sure your familiar with the routine. at 1072 seconds here.

I used Silver and other P.M's in industry so I listen to the "worthless" talk with much interest -g- I It's just experiments at the moment, but we used other NDT methods in my place of work to test for purity, and we were usually looking for six 9's purity or better. But usually these machines are outside the price of small collector / stacker budgets. So I have both silver and copper coins to compare. Just doing experiments at the moment.

I hear there is a short position in silver, so it must be useless, especially as a store of value. -lol-

and could there be a crypto angle analogous to the medieval market ? People owning a mobile phone becoming there own hard currency central bank? nah -g-

Token coin - Wikipedia

It might be unnecessary with all the other good work going on out there.

Back to watching flat horizontal line on spot silver. It's fascinating.

Most interested how the Chinese and HK crypto coin experiment goes.

Another Elon Musk fact recently tweeted. Doge spelled backwards is "egod".

If we get some actual selling going on the stock market, I am sure some cryptos could be picked up cheap.

I am beginning to see your "metaverse" now. Looks like a game of "Crypto wins" far as I can tell, but who knows how bad the losers will upend the table etc before civilised society returns.
