Ike and all, I'm looking at the divergence between TYX and FPRI (Real estate index) since some time. For me it seems to be a good indication where the interest rates are heading to .

Since Dec 22 we have a significant divergence. When you look at both charts, you will see that interest rates follow real estate with a delay of 1-3 months very often. Ok, we have a special situation due to Asia. Nevertheless real estate shows strength. For me an indication of a strong economy.

What are your reads on that?
