Now would the Iranians fire a Nuke at Israel?
Well both the Iraqis and the Iranians are non war like as peoples.
Again, a first irrelevancy... as it is not ever the "non war like" people in any population that get us into wars... which we still manage to get into often enough. Iran is involved in many wars right now... which requires a bit of honesty in dismissing the "non war like" canard... as the duck you are looking at is a better proof ducks exist than your theory that they don't.
A second irrelevancy in the implicit assumption that a people character, rather than the leadership, makes any difference... usually nothing more than an obvious lie required to elicit cooperation in any case... but, that awareness has to be understood in context... as it is a parallel error to another common error... in wrongly making the assumption that you not wanting to go to war... matters... at all. It doesn't. That's not about the personal preference versus the group, either... its just a fact that between two parties, if one decides to go to war... both are going to war... no matter what the other party prefers. War is not a game of preference... but a fact of circumstance that denies you a choice by anothers ability to deny you any choice... or, any choice other than the choice in what to do about the fact another presents to you... The left love to pretend that war would not exist, will not exist, if only one side opts to not participate... which wishful ignorance is brain dead stupid.
That second irrelevancy... applies in a proper parsing of boundaries... as a relevant fact not just between opposing sides in a war... but also as it matters not a whit if a people are peaceful by nature... if the minority who make decisions for them prefer to ignore them.
Otherwise, yes... in the same neighborhood, the Turks have done their best to wipe out the Armenians...
That was featured in the news a week ago, or so... as Biden, a hundred years after the fact, finally opted to acknowledge the fact of the Armenian genocide... annoying the Turks...
The nature of the lies told... as the Turks pretending we don't know about that genocide... ? And insisting that the fact of it should not be recognized ?
I find that aspect of diplomacy... stupid... and pointless. Same thing, often, with China insisting that others should refuse to recognize obvious facts... and not those two uniquely... as, again, Blinken's blinders re the "freedom of the press" while the U.S. is torturing Assange for being successful as a reporter... an instance in which the U.S. prefers to insist that others see "what we prefer to think about ourselves" as true... rather than seeing what is true in fact...
The point, I'd guess... is that war and politics both depend on deception in some degree... but you have to be a moron to think you are deceiving anyone... when the "deception" practiced is that painfully obvious... leaving only yourself capable of being deluded by it... |
