David, The thread-specific search has been on my plate for a while. It isn't trivial. I implemented it over the holidays (along with some other search functionality...got carried away) and discovered that my design wasn't scalable w/ 3.5 million messages. I found that out last week after re-indexing the database. I appreciate what Excite/Altavista do a lot more now! So I have to go back to the drawing board...re-architect the database and simplify. It will be at least a few more weeks to figure it out, plus a week to re-index all the messages. Brad
