Actually I think Sammy's guitar work in this song is as good as anything Eddie did in Van Halen. Of course Eddie was innovative and fast but very repetitive in IMHO. I have never been into the shredding style playing,. To me it isn't about speed but feeling. I would take Jeff Beck over most guitar players
