Eric in top form

I have seen Eric Clapton many times live and in videos and honestly hearing playing this solo, note for note is a real rare event. Clapton almost never does solos as they were recorded. As he says he just plays his solo based on how he feels at the moment often very differently than it was played originally.

But on this special occasion I think he felt as a tribute to George he played with a lot of emotion and in true form like it was done on the White album. Certainly on this night he was in great form. I have the Blu-ray DVD of this concert and highly recommend it.
