The whole blockchain idea is bung. When bitcoin first came out, I thought it was a waste of energy (poven right), too slow ( shown true), not humanized ( a big string of random wallet numbers which is not how people work, so it has to be written down and hidden), would get lost or stolen (a common experience), is intrinsically entropy creating and waste of memory space because useless old data is stored), no good for paying 1c in a second to enable a cluck on something, (still true), subject to being attacked by Federal Reserve, CIA, FBI, IRS, and other acronyms using AI (as an enemy of the state), and subject to competition because of those design flaws ( holy cow, look at the swarming hordes of #metoo competitors (ethereum 1, 2, 2.2, 3, 3.14159, Casper, Doge-style, and every man and his dog produced an ICO, token, nfc, digital picture).
Any one design flaw is one too many. A rocket needs only one O-ring to cause doom. A dozen design flaws means other rockets to the moon will be used.
Heck, I'm the original Cyberspace money man and I'm backing the evil, flawed, go-to-zero-zimbabwe USD at present (transitory style = which has been a terrible idea so far because flawed has beaten doomed = now over $2trillion of the blockchain style exists).
I made the mistake of putting perfection in the way of good enough for now. Bad idea. Microsoft software was never perfect bug $ill Gates is still on of here richest people ever. Zenbu software wasn't perfect either but is still the best of dozens of efforts which all failed other than Zenbu WiFi.
