A generation of republicans borrowed money and spent like there was no tomorrow. When I look at the debt numbers, it started under Reagan, a man who promised to balance the budget, nearly tripled the debt and still won 49 states. Lying works for them so why should they change? The damage they caused is irreparable. The debt will never be paid back and the US will decline. Their slogans won't undo the debt.
