Wonder if today's huge dive was algos fleecing the rubes? Probably not... but I have no doubt they're just waiting until its profitable enough for them to rip new holes into thousands. I'm guessing when their computers strike its going to be a huge one. Those who bought bitcoin at 65,000 have learned a painful lesson. Wonder how many sold at 65? And why? I'm now wondering if a huge slide in Bitcoin will affect the housing market. A LOT of millennials are counting on their bitcoin to help them buy. Meanwhile the median price of a home in my city is 800,000... slow and steady appreciation... and you get to live in your investment... and write it off. There's very little land here now to build on, permits take a year and cost hundreds of thousands, lumber prices are getting worse every day, and nobody can find a plumber to... serve... them. I don't think Musk intentionally manipulated the market... but he sure is a good warning.
