Ray - I concur with your comments on Monday morning trades. The
problem is particularly bad for low-float stocks. Here's an example
from this morning. The stock (TSRI) closed at 16 on Friday,
up 6 on the week. This morning, the opening spread was 16 1/2 -
19 (!), with the first few trades at the ask (ouch). I put a
limit sell in at 18, and got filled. So, I recommend always
using limit orders, and watching the first few trades very
closely; sometimes you can get filled inside the spread. -Greg
