Fundamental question for the thread: Is ADSL going to turn into a commodity? Like the disk drives and analog modems of the past? Or, will it be enhancement-driven, like routers (CSCO) and processors (INTC)?

I'm sure the RBOC's would love to commoditize it.

I'd love to hear reasoning that ADSL will not become a commodity.
