Tossing out Palestinians in favour of Israeli homesteaders.
Except that's wrong...
The issue in the court is the opposite...
The properties in question were always, originally, owned by Jewish people... who were forced out by Palestinains some time ago... as is validated in the original Jordanian property ownership records. The title of the properties has never been removed from the legitimate owners... who are simply trying to redress the wrongful takings by evicting squatters... who occupy property they do not own... without paying rents.
Before 1948... the Jewish population were the ones being abused... at the hands of Palestinians...
The problem, really, boils down to everyone, for no obvious reason I can see, buying the stupid argument that in Israel, alone, in a singular historical instance, the winners and losers of a war should be required to live together...
When America (ie., France) defeated Great Britain in our Revolutionary War... the British Loyalists were either killed, run out town, packed off on ships heading back to Britain... or forced to move to Canada.
Benedict Arnold, for instance, tried to go to Canada BEFORE (?) he became a traitor, but failed in the effort to conquer Quebec as "everything went wrong"... but then he ended up going to Britain instead of Canada after being outed as a traitor... No one suggested he should instead move in next door to George and Martha ?
When Israel took Sinai from Eygpt... the Egyptians left ? When Egypt got it back... the Israelis left ?
Only in Palestine, for some insane reason, does the world try to pretend that losing wars should not have any real consequences...
The truth is... Palestinians don't want a state of their own... they only want the one Israel has...
There is no solution to that problem... because Palestinains don't WANT to solve the problem...
Instead, they prefer to listen to Iran... and think Israel will be made to disappear... for them...
And the rest of it... is just lies told to facilitate Iran getting nukes... to enable that in happening. |
