Jersey Goldfields Corp - Montana gas well development program to begin Jersey Goldfields Corp JRGShares issued 184506441998-01-28 close $0.18Tuesday Feb 3 1998February 3, 1998 - JERSEY GOLDFIELDS CORPORATION ("the Corporation") through wholly owned subsidiary Griffith Petroleum announces that the first of a twelve well multi-well shallow gas in-fill development program on the Kevin-Sunburst Dome, Montana, properties will commence February 3, 1998. These wells will exploit Cretaceous Bow Island and Sunburst Sand Developments as well as Jurassic Swift Sands and will be immediately tied in to the existing gathering and processing facility. The program will be joint-ventured with High Plains Energy Inc. of Calgary, Alberta. Consulting engineers estimate approximately 200 MCFD. Jersey will have a 100% working interest before payout and 60 % after payback. A second and third multi-well program is being planned for other properties in two other adjacent gas fields.
