Interesting viewpoint.
Just wondering how many "dog ate homework" believers are out there?
And have the main stream media been instructed to spin "Dog Ate Homework" stories in a subtle way??
When the going gets tough, and it almost certainly will, bias and prejudice are unaffordable, no matter what ones income or views are; on politics or anything else.. Treating other human beings in a civilized way is a valuable asset to possess. Although in business and politics some of the decisions that have to be made are enough to challenge anyone.

On another subject altogether.
I have been reading your views on the climate, and environmental challenges we face. There are two sides to the table in these academic matters I read the work of Zoe Phin. I am on her email list.
She is a bit of an upstart and rebel, and if you ever wonder who were the people who developed High Frequency Trading, well that was one of her assignments when she was employed by Wall Street firms. When she announced this I feigned shock and horror naturally. Fact is though, I really do think High Frequency Trading should be illegal. All that detracts from the fact she knows some real science, more then me in all probability, and has a well practiced talent for writing code.
She is a climate skeptic, and throws down the gauntlet to all challengers.
She just issued this analysis on Atlantic Hurricanes. She is a climate change skeptic btw.

I find her work a delight to read, and also the challengers who show up to debate the worthiness of her work.
Where I live had a real stumper of a gale yesterday btw. On land the wind strength was at severe gale or even higher. Out at sea it would have been stronger. I took, some photographs. The red flag ("no swimming") was flying but I don't think anyone needed reminding -g- The sea looks relatively calm here as the tide was going out, and the water shallow. I parked my car nearly a mile away from the sea front, but the salt spray was still hitting the windows. It should be a very rare event. One had to be very careful opening and closing the car door, damage to the car or a person could happen easily.
