The phoney racist stuff is there like a ditch for the enemy to fall into. Trump maybe this or that, but he knows how to win, and so do his supporters. You make sure there is more of you then there is of them. Predjudice is an expensive unaffordable luxury not available to most politicians. Listening to Trump, past his bluff, there is no such predjudice there. BUT the reality is, the polls said he lost the election, so there was a fallibility in his strategy somewhere. hmmm. I don't think it was any of the minorities that failed him though. He had that one covered.
