You realise that we are now talking degrees here right :) Like I said.. not a handout fan .. to be more precise.. not a gov handout fan using my dough.. What I choose to do with my dough is my biz... My dad would take me (and later my sister) to the old hood where he grew up and I spent a lot of time as a kid.. a slum, Where family biz (I started working in earnest at 10) that lifted them out of poverty was started by my Grandpa.. immigrant from China.. Montreal's Chinatown was part of that.. at Christmas time.. We would hand deliver food and toy baskets .. On Dad's dime.. That is a handout I can deal with .. It is a good thing IMO... Government taking money to try and make all equal is bung (Mq must be laughing at my continuing use of one of his fav term LOL) ..We are not all equal.. that is precisely my argument for equal in many respects rich or poor... ed and health care.. (healthcare will always be tiered in our lifetime at least) but the essentials should not be.. Tiering is not bad.. if you can afford financially to not wait.. and travel.. do it.. U relieve the burden anyway .. I just believe that poor with talent should be given a better shot.. Maybe we would have less rich entitled dumb asses in the mix messing things up ? My PM comes to mind...
