Yes, the NCI should provide most of the funding but in the
last conference call the company said they where also in the
process of selecting a tumor cell line for their own phase II
study. I suspect they are prepared to study what the NCI
passes over. (Who knows, maybe, the NCI will concentrate on
lung and breast and MGI will study colon and skin. Hey, the
drug should work on any cancer cell with active transport.)
