Getting down to basics, Divx will succeed because of content. Want to watch, on your TV, Titanic or any other Paramount, Disney classic or Dream Works flic, you gotta have Divx.
It's the local video dealers and DVD owners who are crying "DiEvx".
What bothers me is that Zenith is timidly introducing Divx in only two markets rather than running with it at all four corners. Also, Dick Sharp at CC should pick up on my suggestion to call it DVD+.
Looking forward to Jeff Gannon, publicly, laying out his Divx, HDTV, STB, convergence, VSB roylaties and other key strategies for Zenith, including operational improvements. Time is ticking..........
