Musya I think you hit it right on the head!

My read on it:
With the prerelease of the news, the market discounted the news 2-3 days before it actually came to wires....Everybody who wanted to buy - bought. Now we do not have any more sellers (at these prices), and no more buyers. BTW, the potential buyers who were not familiar with the stock before, and saw it today first time (after the news), noticed how the market reacted to the news (i.e., went down). This fact turned SOME of them (I think many of them) off, and they did not become new buyers.

First, most long termers in this stock could care less about day to day action but it does look pretty unimpressive to the "potential new investors" when after such an announcement the stock is basically down to flat on light volume. It will be very interesting next week to see if we repeat the same scenario next Tue/Wed or so because Joe M reported next PR will be late next week. So if we follow this past few days pattern we will reach the short term "high" Tues or Wed and see a weak Thurs/Fri (whichever day the PR is formally announced).

Such a reaction seems to be the tradeoffs of giving such info ahead of time instead of "surprising" everyone. The market is usually efficient like that.
