The history of the Zenith El Primero I owned both Movado and Zenith versions of the early-mid 70s calendar moonphase chronograph with the Hi-Beat El Primero movements, absolutely wonderful. If you've never seen the difference between 28,800 BPH and 36,000 BPH, you are in for a real treat. I also owned a Zenith Pilot watch made from late 60s to early 70s with the El Primero movement. These are not my pictures but owned timepieces of similar condition at the time almost 20 years ago! They would have proven good investments had I held on to them. timeandwatches.com
