One can't believe in democracy and the Constitution at the same time. Our founding fathers did not like democracies and therefor established a Constitutional Republic. They felt that democracies resulted in mob rule, and they were right about that. Talking about "our democracy" is a smokescreen myth/scam. The politicians do that to try to cover up for the fact that the people do not really have that much of a voice in the day to day operations or policies of the government.
