am now, together w/ my wife, caring for my mom (90) and in-laws (80, 82)

good that all in HK and in the neighbourhood, per my plan starting 1999-2000

in-laws generally / used to spend 50% time in Penang, now locked-in / locked-out

Mom healthy and active

In-laws less healthy

I take them swimming three times every week

Lots of part-time helpers of various trades

My cohort of friends doing about the same, at varying distances to the elders

Am happy that my kids are happy to check on and interact w/ their elders
