Taurus, those were my thoughts too. The day-to-day explanations never make sense to me, whether POG goes up or down.

In particular, I don't understand Asia down, gold down scenario. The fact is, with near bank runs in Japan and Asian currencies tumbling, the average Japanese citizen (with perhaps the biggest stash of savings in the world) has to be thinking about gold for at least some percentage of the porfolio.

Comex traders and recent price movements suggest otherwise, but IMO gold will act that way only until the physical reality catches up.

Don't know what gold will do this month, but remain convinced this is a long term historical anomaly.
