Andrew H,
>> Ira was misquoted Monday. He confirmed that EPS will be in the vacinity of $.11 after tax. <<
This is NOT the truth. Ira was not misquoted. Best case scenario he mis-spoke.
Personally, I dont doubt you. I also dont doubt he told the AFTER tax figure to other people. I do have a problem with his "misspeaking" to you, if that was indeed the case.. kind of hard to mess up the words AFTER and BEFORE taxes.
What I did learn was the power of this medium yesterday. Your post caused a lot of panic, and it wasnt confirmed information. That isnt your fault, because you just reported what you heard. It just shows to me the "lemming" thing someone else here keeps mentioning. But it is a powerful medium nonetheless.
Last, since everyone attacks LE so much.. and since one of the attacks is he only posts here, why doesnt anyone even lift an eyebrow at Buckeye? Maybe he has been a long time investor, and finally decided to put down the $$ to be a SI poster. But no one questions this brand new SI poster who has such good info. Just find it amazing he got through to Ira Monas not once, but TWICE (he had a morning call and an afternoon call) when our CEO is refering phone calls to the shiny new IR department. Why, if the news is bullish, no one questions the poster, but if it is bearish, people attack the poster.
Just trying to be fair here.
P.S. Its hard to be fair since Michigan kicks Buckeye a$$ every year in football ;)
