I took losses in GDB this year which I used to offset capital gains. I got back in at a lower price, which was a big mistake on my part.

Well what happens to GDB this remains to be seen, but I would think that the odds are against them. Mind you, if you see an agreement worked out with the government, things would be a lot different.

I recall that one of the majors (was it placer?) got jerked around by the Khazakhs last year (?) so I don't think the problem is strictly limited to the smaller copmanies.
