Yes, and put simply Reagan and the Republicans were stealing from us and future generations, and giving it all to the rich, plutocrats------and they are still doing it.

That is the only thing the Republicans have been doing since the late 1800's, and they dupe the poor and uneducated into voting against their own self interests by appealing to their dark side of racism, homophobia and their primitive right wing culture and vilifying the progressives with words like socialism.

Reagan believed in a free market system which was code for borrowing trillions and giving it to people who were ultra rich. They didn't have to do anything special with the government debt he was creating, they simply existed.
