Hi Bill, yes WSTL was a surprise. But investors are overreacting at this stage. It's the misconception of WSTL just being a CAP vendor, but they will learn. WSTL has a good presence with telcos and they are smart enough to partner with larger players, this will benefit them sooner or later.

There is no doubt this is a blow to CAP. If other telcos follow in the same DMT path, CAP is finished all right. I don't expect the ISPs to do anything different. ISPs would most likely lease equipment/real estate from the telcos in the future.

p.s. the news on Telstra choosing NEC for broadband equipment provider should also benefit Amati.
