This country is a Democracy and people decide by their votes ( or non votes) what kind of government they will have. As Ben Franklin said, " it is a Republic, if you can keep it." America is a democratic republic. Almost every democracy in the world comes in the form of a democratic republic.
And yes, capitalism IS good. In fact, capitalism is the reason why the COVID-19 pandemic is finally coming to an end here in America.
