I just came from Yahoo message boards. After visiting UTI there, I really feel bad for those people. They still have no clue why land drillers, in particular UTI and PTEN, tanked while other offshore drillers held up. ALL driller investors, please listen - the land rig dayrate have fallen and we don't know when this will end. THIS IS FACT. Companies like PTEN and NBR, maybe UTI and GW as well, decided to stack them rather than lower price. We are talking about dayrate falling 10% in a month. Will it stabilize soon? Is this the typical spring lull? The picture is not clear yet. Stay away from them.
