Gentlemen, Stent penetration of percutaneous cornory angioplastery procedures is likely to be faster and ultimately higher than assumed: both US and Japan will see important new products in 98. Stents are fully reimbursed in US. Exposive whole world growth will be 2 billion. This will help all major players. 4% increase in pentration of PTCA procedures in 4th quarter. Stents per procedure up 10%. Better new products allow treatmentment for unpreviously treated patients. The GDT multilink alone allows access to 5% more, and AVE's GFX may add 5% more. Average price of stent (depending on size.) (average length stent.) would be for GDT is $1800. Versus $1500 for J&J. Jerry
