You had remarked about "Generational Wealth Disparity".
I remarked, and clearly indicated as such, on Wealthy Disparity generally. That is, the solution to ALL wealth disparity -- whether generational or not, is found in jobs. That is the only conceivable solution, because jobs are a precondition to wealth. Government spewing money does not create wealth. While there are a few (like Solyndra operators) who receive such spew without earning it, most who receive wealth through government (e.g., Musk) generate many times the amount spewed in new wealth.

SpaceX was the beneficiary of a lot of government dollars -- all well spent -- in that Musk is a top-flight economist as well as an engineer. Musk realizes if he wants to continue to cash flow from government he has to continue to out-engineer everyone on the planet, and he does.
In all things economic, Jobs are the essence if you are going to have sustainability. Government spew is evil for this reason: It is never a good thing. Sometimes we have to have but it is always at a premium, and seldom returns value. |
