The root of problem are the bankers as they have been for millennia since the concept of currency was introduced. Re-read the Bible and why Joshua of Nazareth was crucified - who demanded his blood if not the bankers of the time. The Sanhedrin or the Jewish High Court found Joshua innocent even if it was not totally to their liking that some outsider to step into their business – but this was the business of all prophets mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. An honest person with high integrity that gets into banking will never advance to the top and that is from personal knowledge. On this remark one should differentiate between an economist and a banker. A economist thinks he understands markets and monetary policy a banker makes it by its own rules with clear purpose not for your benefit.
