Vermont a "swing state?" Can you explain what you mean?

FWIW, Phil Scott is more like a Democrat when compared to political ideologies on a national basis. He's very popular because the "non-adult progressives" in Vermont have a majority in the legislative bodies and are pretty far out of control on spending, etc. He voted for Bill Weld in the Republican presidential primary, and maybe the same in the national election (think it was Weld then, as well, but can't remember). He also signed some gun legislation last year, something that even Bernie never supported because the state has such a strong and clear 2d Amendment equivalent in its state constitution.
