Boy that message got trashed! I'll try again!

You have a good point, but I welcome the annual upgrade. I want those people to stay together and continue to produce software. As Mohammed Ali once said "You can't always get in the ring with Ken Norton, you are gonna' get hurt!". I don't object to 'pay' for the upgrades to generate cash flow while the next 'really new' software is in development. The software has come such a long way, that sometimes the software is waiting for the next level of hardware to be released. (Like MMX) If we disband the group, I'm afraid that getting the group together again might be cost prohibitive.

I recommend that everybody upgrades to the new version after checking for backward compatibility. I tell people that this cash flow helps us all in the end! The Office Suite (Professional) and Visual Suite (Professional) represent, to me , very functional software, and allow me to be as creative as I want to be and write my projects without having to write the application to write the application!

Does this make 'cents'! It sure does when I consider my time and how long it takes me to develop an idea and complete the task!

Thoughts?

Ken
