How did we get here? The debt soared after Reagan cut taxes and spent like there was no tomorrow and won 49 states. They can't admit they were wrong. They thing reelection entitles them to destroy all future generations with debt from tax cuts and economic collapses. The fact that Dems can't create a decent narrative on this issue is mind boggling. Too many old people. A child can blow apart anything the smartest republican says with these words, "how do you pay for it?"
