Amusing = socialism is not communism. They look the same to me. Maybe there are subtle abstruse arcane differences just as communism has many subtle differences, with competing murderous acolytes for each faction.

The basic principle is from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs. Which means give us your money or we kill you. Dress it up as you like, it's the individual is the property of the Great and Glorious State.
