I am watching BA to see what happens in the next week to possibly two weeks. It is a good marker and well I like aerospace stuff. See some possible timing for a triangle to complete here, very soon, maybe with a slight truncation. Market mo mo seems to me to be waning.
I followed the 737 Max stuff fastidiously, and am involved in related technology. I could not believe how stupid BA apparently was, in all that happened. That is what happens when you get cocky, have poor leadership, etc. It is a long and involved story with multiple mistakes piled upon more mistakes. It finally culminated in many unnecessary deaths, and huge financial blow to BA. The guy they finally sacked imo was an idiot, did not belong to be there. They should not have done the Max, they should have started from scratch. They now have nothing to compete with the A321 Neo, which as a result is eating their lunch. Going to take a long time to correct that, with huge investment, and possibly some more hurt coming as a result. On the plus side BA is lucky they have so many carriers that are sort of sucked into the 737 family, so they will sell more Max's.
BA in the long run usually comes out of it.

This is the bearish view, I don't like to delve into alternates. There is one, but we won't go there. If this one comes to fruition hell is coming for BA. We know soon here, imo.
