Only God knows how many they regularly gave Affirmative Action to over the years. It doesn't list it in that article, but I'm real sure they were also giving AA to women. I've never had a woman doctor that I trusted, so if given a choice, I choose a man. My first choice would be a white man, but that is getting more difficult to do at Kaiser. So I take the next best option. I think you can figure out who I'd choose. My hematologist is a wonderful man from eastern Europe (who reminds me of my Polish husband). He studied both there and here - and he basically saved my life when my platelets were disappearing as fast as they could pump them into me - and they could find no reason for it! YIKES!
