To ALL: Just another accolade for Iomega:

PC Computing has come out with the Finalists for their "MVP Awards," and in the Removable Storage category, they are ........

Hewlett-Packard SureStore 4020i CD Writer
Iomega Jaz Drive
Iomega Zip Drive

IMHO, the HP device was put there just so that IOMG doesn't wrap up the category by default. There were 4 other categories which had all but one of the Finalists by a single company.

As for qualification for the award, "Products in all categories that shipped no later than September 30, 1996 were eligible for consideration by PC Computing's editors for the 1996 MVP Awards."

That implies to me that the LS-120 either could not be found by the mag's editors as recently as last week, or they just didn't like it. Also, the Syquest EZFlyer apparently didn't make much of a hit (I did see one of them on a store shelf once), and we all know about the SyJe(s)t.
