He may well have read it. It takes quite a bit of practise to get past the Accountant-speak in those financial press releases and to separate the wheat from the chaff. Especially when you read something on-line and not on paper. I say this because, until I read your post and went back to re-read the press release, I missed the fact that these shocking earnings were excluding one-time charges . That is one of the great values of SI; when people start dissecting these releases and translating them into plain English, it increases the understanding of those of us who are part of the "the Great unwashed." Thanks.
