The actual preparation is by our live-in Filipino helper whom my kids address as 'auntie', and she loves to cook as well as garden, and is a very fast learner. We do invite my mom in-law and one other friend who knows how to cook well to teach some new dishes every so often, often enough, and we do bring some order-out dishes home from various restaurants for her to eat and then watch YouTube videos to study how-to. She can open her own restaurant one day. We are systematic. I do have her enrolled in my speculation program for retirement / severance money, and should I do well enough, she should have enough to start simple eatery in her home village should she wish. In any case her skills are in demand in HK.
