It's no longer the obvious choice taken by management even though it's the correct choice. Store manager (top of the heap at store) is very hands on in a good way... not micro managing but spots good employees at all levels and forms a connection... builds a rapport .. (a great skill) will for example go to me directly (and a few others) with a request after telling my immediate boss. I'm happy it's all working out for you and go ahead on the humour thread no worries!
