Thre is, if you have noticed, a serious effort to sell this gnat to k-12. That’s where the problem is. It may make a fine graduate course but it is wrong to put it in k-12.

You may have seen a video in which a black guy appeared to be speaking to a group of people, mostly black adults, about why he rejects CRT in his kid's school. I wish I knew where it was and I’ll try to find it later tonight. I believe he said he was a doctor, and he gave a couple of excellent examples of why it should not be bright to the k-12 environment. He gave an excellent speech on it (imo) and basically ended by saying words to the effect of, “So they want to sell CRT to the school so they make kids hate each other.” “I have two medical degrees and my kids are gonna try to make white kids feel bad because they got it so much better than my kids?”

These are insane judgments we are going to dump on kids who have no idea where they rank in society with others, or why. Yet, we are going to impose ranks on them? Worse, ranks determined by peers?

If you keep in grad school that is fine. But it is not deserving of front and center, and there is certainly a movement by some in that direction.

If you are not a proponent of cramming it into k-12, then I don’t think you and I have much iPod a difference there.
