Thre is, if you have noticed, a serious effort to sell this gnat to k-12. That’s where the problem is. It may make a fine graduate course but it is wrong to put it in k-12.

The problem is that I haven't seen said serious effort. I've only seen the outraged resistance. So it looks like culture warriors stoking issue where there is none.

You may have seen a video in which a black guy appeared to be speaking to a group of people, mostly black adults, about why he rejects CRT in his kid's school.

All I've seen is people like that objecting to its introduction into schools. I have yet to see anyone argue FOR its introduction into schools. So don't bother looking for the video of the guy objecting. Look instead for someone advocating it. That would be more useful. I cannot imagine what basis they might have for doing so.

The second problem, and why this issue is so dumb, is that Critical Theory of any flavor is much too complicated, too advanced, for kids, who should be learning about things like gravity and the Declaration of Independence. They should be well grounded in reasoning and critical thinking, not some esoteric, abstract philosophy. Their brains aren't ready for that.

As I have told you many times, I am rarely arguing issues with you. Mostly I try to hold up a mirror to you re the way you process things. But you insist on assuming that I am arguing the opposite side of the issue. If it's not clear from the above, I am not advocating CRT for kids. If fact, I find the notion so ridiculous that I can safely assume that it's not happening and it's just another wacky cultural outrage machine figment. Which you have apparently bought.
