I just watch DXY as one of my overall indicators... I've never traded it and the only vehicle I can think of would be UUP, or one of the ETFs that you have already mentioned..

But those Quarterly charts are very powerful, as you pointed out, and generally long-term.. (which I why I still use Big Charts to spool them up)..

But it's the monthly that will tell all, IMO.. The SPX MACD is heading downward from an all time high peaking formation and historical analysis over the past 10 years tells us it doesn't reverse until either hits neutral, or negative.

I'm frankly amazed that the longer term charts hadn't rolled over earlier.. But the Fed go Brrrrtt.. and now the banks are flush with deposits (liabilities) and very short on collateral (bonds)..

As Steven Van Metre points out, all of that QE had tied up money in the banking system and not hitting main street as monetary velocity, which remains at historical lows...

But Michael Burry sees what seems rather obvious, and this is going to get fugly.. IMO.. It just may take a few months to fully manifest itself, or the margin calls cascading throughout the system may result in an avalanche.
