Wow, never heard that one before... the climate determines how barbaric or non barbaric you are?? the southeastern U.S. is pretty moist (especially now), but seems to be filled with extremist right wing fundamental religious nutwacks... at least the Rcons who control all the levers of local govt, even though they are a minority compared to voter preferences of the population To be elected in the Bible Belt or even other states (not just the former slave states) as an R, it seems to be a requirement to wear your religion on your sleeve... And that means hating on minorities, LGTBQ, poor folks, immigrants, etc... the opposite of the actual Jesus of that book many people wrote, supposedly
